2008 US Open 9-Ball Championship: Updates on Filipino pool players!

Filipino pool players competing in the 2008 US Open 9-Ball Championship are on a roll! And I kid you not! Wins at this point in time include:

Francisco Django Bustamante vs Keith Brinton of the US (11-8 )
Jose Amang Parica vs Aki Heiskanen of Finland (11-9)
Lee Van Corteza vs Abdullah el-Yousef of Kuwait (11-5)
Ronnie Alcano vs American Matt Clatterbuck (11-4)
Warren Kiamco vs. Jason Klatt (11-5)

Ramil Gallego vs. Sam Monday (11-3);
Bebeng Gallego also had an 11-9 victory over Gabe Owen

and

Rodolfo Luat vs. Don Polo of the US (11-2). Boy Samson is next scheduled to square off against Nick Varner, the former 2x US Open winner.

More updates, friends!

Joven Alba fell to Chris Melling of Great Britain (11-9), while Leonardo Dodong Andam lost to Markus Juva of Finland (11-8 ). Both Alban and Andam need to sweep their remaining matches in the one-loss bracket.
