history made
world cup of pool
(8/22-26/2006, newport, wales)

The Philippines' Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante
became the first winners of
the World Cup of Pool
to claim the trophy and top prize of $60,000
with a 13-5 victory against team USA in the persons of
Earl “The Pearl” Strickland and Rodney “Rocket” Morris.
Efren played a ton of unbelievable shots,
which Django attributed as the chief reason for their victory.
Another proof cementing Reyes' reputation of winning every time
in big tournaments and money games.

flanked by Filipino fans
from around the world

a sweet victory it is

the champions

for the
filipino people

a show of force and support

didn't have any idea at all
on the outcome

focus and finesse

intensity at its finest
