9-Ball Grand Billiards Showdown: Philippines vs. The World Billiard Tournament!
Filipino pool players Efren Bata Reyes and Francisco Django Bustamante will headline the
Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante will lead an eight-man team that will be pitted against pool players from around the globe in a team tournament, dubbed as Quezon City-Philippines vs. The World, offering $40,000 as the top prize!
The Magician and Django will be joined by some of the country’s top cue artists, including Alex Pagulayan of Puyat Sports, Ronnie Alcano, Dennis Orcollo, and Roberto Gomez of Bugsy Promotions, and Lee Van Corteza and Warren Kiamco from the Negros Billiard Stable! And I kid you not!
The Filipino pool players will compete against the team of Mika Immonem, Thorsten Hohmann, Konstantin Stepanov, Rodney Morris, Yung Ching Shunand, Wu Chia Ching, Sotoshi Kawabata, and Charlie Williams.

The three-day event is a joint project of Quezon City Councilor Ariel Inton, the Quezon City Sports Tourism Council, and the Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP).
