Guess what, everyone! One of the great pillars of D’Professional 9-Ball Club is celebrating his birthday today (March 31)! Yes, you read right! The well-loved and respected Mr. Nel Manabat, aka Boy Storm, is a year older! And it goes without saying that he is a year better, too! (Ubo! Ubo! Ubo!)
As a way of showing appreciation for all of Boy Storm’s hard work and dedication to the club (not to forget his great antics and sense of humor, and the countless bottles of beer he has consumed), here is a token from all the members of D’Professional 9-Ball Club! Led by its able founder, Mr. Ted Simon, D’Professional 9-Ball Club presents a news clipping of its very own Boy Storm! Mind you, dehins galling to sa tabloid huh! And it’s not even from Playboy!
But before we get into the news clipping and all, there’s this persistent rumor, friends! Is it true that one of Boy Storm’s partners in crime, Mr. Noel Santos, is going balikbayan this April 2008? And is it true that Boy Storm’s sidekicks – Ted and Noel - are treating all members of D’Professional 9-Ball Club at Dampa, Macapagal, as a belated birthday celebration for the energetic Nel Manabat? The rumors are persistent, friends! And I kid you not!
Pictured above is our very own, Mr. Nel Manabat, Senior Account Manager at Fritz & Macziol. The article was published in Tech News Section of the January 7, 2008 issue of the Manila Bulletin. With Mr. Manabat are some of the movers and shakers ( just like himself) of the local IT industry, i.e., Edgardo Etruiste (Logic Solutions Inc. Business Development Director), Victor Vina (ALL Systems President), Tony Cordero (Logic Solutions Sales Director), and Jose Maria Garcia (First Datacorp Product Management Unit Manager).
Can’t read the article, friends? No worries! It is reprinted in its entirety for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy!
