Chris Harrison's Internet Map

Chris Harrison, a doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute, used data sets from The Dimes Project to create a set of visualizations that display how cities across the world are interconnected (by router configuration). There are currently 89,344 connections to date. Now, this is one cool way of visualizing the online world! And I kid you not! Enjoy!
