Billiards buddies and pool players, it is now official! The Makati Pool Players Association’s (MAPPA) Manny Pacquiao 10-Ball Cup is now an annual event!

Come July 23-24, 30-31, 2010, MAPPA, led by my good friend, President Jesse (Gonzales) Cambosa, will unfold the 2010 Manny Pacquiao 10-Ball Cup at the AMF-Puyat Superbowl at the Makati Cinema Square in Makati City!

The much-awaited 10-ball competition is divided into four classes, i.e., Class C (beginner), Class B (intermediate), Class A (advance), and Class O (open class).

The event promises tons of fun and excitement for everyone into the sport! I give you my word that tons of free food, overflowing drinks, and great entertainment will dot the landscape of the AMF-Puyat Superbowl come opening date! But wait! MAPPA’s not done yet! Participants will be treated to more food, drinks, and entertainment during the finals on July 31, 2010, Saturday, 5 PM-11 PM, at Poker Asia at Adriatico Square, 5th Floor of Pan Pacific Manila!

And yes! I have received word that World Champion Manny Pacquiao, aka Pacman, will grace the event! And I kid you not!

To my good friend, MAPPA President Jesse (Gonzales) Cambosa, and the rest of the MAPPA officers: Congratulations for making the 2010 Manny Pacquiao 10-Ball Cup possible! We are making history, friends! Mabuhay!
