anitokid at sinbad's

the anitokid
was treated to rustic eats
by the shaman
(who rumor has it earned $20,000 in 2.5 hours)

situated at #124 San Agustin St., Makati City
Sinbad's touts itself
as an authentic haven
for Mediterranean flavors
complimented by rustic eats
from the Middle East.
The place has gained
a steady and loyal following
in just seven months of operations
(yup! just 7 months!)

quite cozy now

it's my first time here, ma

a specialty of the house
- jumbo shawarma! -
a complete meal in itself!
truly satisfying!
and delicious too!

iced tea
with real lemon

a see-tru glass kitchen
allows customers to witness
the chefs' dedication
in preparing
the various specialties
of the house

- the jumbo shawarma -
true to its name, IT IS definitely
the biggest shawarma i've ever had
and i kid you not!

Sinbad's mid-eastern-style sandwich
is composed of shaved beef
with generous amounts
of tomatoes, onions, cucumber, and other garnishes
wrapped in a very tasty pita bread
that is so unlike those being sold in malls.
and the house's spicy-garlic dressing!!!
wow! it more than compliments the sandwich,
truly making it a complete meal!
best with iced tea or a cold beer!!!

- the lamb kebab -
Sinbad's specialty
featuring lamb meat from Australia
complimented by
a vegetable side dish and herbed rice

- beef kebab -
another specialty of the house

the meat's juices ooze away
as one cuts it into bite size pieces
very tender, very tasty, indeed!
the slow roasting of the lamb loaf
on a vertical rotating spit
successfully sealed the flavor...
bravo!

the anitokid with cheryl gunzapelicke-pineda
the woman behind Sinbad's flavorful dishes
the deliciousness of her creations
(inspired by her Syrian dad)
is matched only by her hospitality and charm.

we came, we ordered, we're full!
