For the third straight year, the Hilton in East Brunswick, New Jersey will be the host-site of the 2008 Predator World Straight Pool Championship! The 2008 Predator World 14.1 Championship has been scheduled on August 24-30, 2008, and is being produced by Dragon Promotions in conjunction with straight pool enthusiast, Dr. Michael Fedak. The 14.1 Championship will be staged in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton.
The 2008 Predator World 14.1 Championship is sanctioned by the World Pool - Billiard Association and is officially recognized world wide as a World Championship event. The champion of the billiards competition will have his/her name inscribed on the World 14.1 Champion's Cup alongside the names of previous winners, including pool player Oliver Ortmann, who is gunning for his ninth major straight-pool title. Yes, his ninth major straight-pool title! And I kid you not!
