Philippine Open Pool Championships 2011: Schedules, Players, and Prizes Info!
Billiards buddies and pool player friends, it's championship time in the Pool Capital of the World once again! And I kid you not! The 2011 Philippine Open Pool Championships, which is a world-ranking event of the World Pool-Billiard Association, will be staged at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. The event features divisions for both men and women. The men’s championship will have a 64-player main draw, while the women’s championship will have a 32-player main draw. The featured discipline is 10-Ball.

Players (Entry and Qualifications)
The 2011 Philippine Open is open to players (male and female) from all over the world who wish to join, provided they can meet the conditions and qualifications set by the World Pool-Billiard Association and its organizer, Raya Sports.
The majority of spots in the tournament are allocated via a quota system devised by the World Pool-Billiard Association and distributed equitably among the continental federations. Interested players are advised to check with their continental federations if they have been given spots by their federation or the WPA.
Qualifier (Men)
Players can secure spots in the main tournament via the qualifying tournaments. There will be 10 qualifiers for men, staged over 5 days. Players will compete in 10 single-elimination qualifiers. The winner of each qualifier will get a spot in Stage 2 of the Philippine Open.
Qualifier (Women)
There will be 4 qualifiers for women players interested in securing spots in the main tournament.

- Players can register by email at raya@prismphil.com.
- Players can also register through their continental association, which must transmit by fax or email their entry application.
- Players must be registered by February 28, 2011.
- All Entry fees must be paid by March 31, 2011.
