Jundel Janno Mazon Celebration At Harbor View! Negros Billiards Stable and JSY Sports Congratulates the Champion!
Two days after Filipino pool player Jundel Mazon, aka Janno, won the coveted 2010 Guinness World Series of Pool in Mall Taman Anggrek, Center Atrium, in Jakarta Indonesia, the newest champion from the Pool Capital of the World was treated to a sumptuous dinner at Harbor View, Mall of Asia, by members of the Negros Billiards Stable and JSY Sports.
Mr. Jonathan Sy led pool players and billiards buddies from Negros Billiards Stable, JSY Sports, and the media in congratulating Jundel Mazon for his awesome win in Jakarta, Indonesia. These include my friends Rodolfo “Boy Samson” Luat, Lee Van Corteza, aka The Slayer, Warren “The Warrior” Kiamco, and Roberto Dy aka Bert Pasay. Ricky Zerna, Ish Caparas, and Marlon Bernardino also graced the event. Our friends from The Inquirer newspaper made it to the celebration, too.
The celebration was a nice break from my hectic schedule. I personally witnessed the camaraderie amongst the members of Negros Billiards Stable and JSY Sports. One could personally feel their joy and happiness for Janno – ‘twas all true! All from the heart! They were really happy for Janno – lahat sila!
And because I was seated beside Mr. Jonathan Sy and Janno Mazon, I could not help but overhear Mr. Jonathan Sy’s remarks to Janno before he left for a late business meeting. The Big Boss of Negros Billiards Stable personally expressed to Janno how impressed he was with the latter’s performance in the finals match of the 2010 Guinness World Series of Pool. That he and the rest of the team should prepare themselves and all for the 2010 U.S. Open!
And how did Janno Mazon ended the celebration given to him that special night? He personally handed out some goodwill money to each and every member of the Negros Billiards Stable and JSY Sports! Ain’t that a very nice gesture! Now, that is living to the adage that I truly believe in: “We make a living by what we get. But we make a life by what we give.” And I kid you not!
Here are more pictures of that memorable celebration - in YouTube format!
