Congrats to the Philippine boxers. Mexico usually invites Thailand to this tournament but it is gratifying to know that they recognize us as another strong competitor in this sport. We proved to them that we are indeed at par with the world's best so let's hope for more exciting tournaments like this in the future.

If our kababayans continue their exemplary performance in the sport, I believe we are in for more surprises in the coming years. Kudos to our Filipino boxers!

I have three important things in mind related to this article:

First, Boom Boom Bautista just bit more than what he could chew. It was a nice learning experiencing even if it was a TKO loss.

Second, Penalosa proved that experience can trump skills. The body punches were too much for his opponent to handle.

Third, AJ Banal has a wicked right hook. That is a must have to all boxers aspiring to be an elite.

Kudos to the Philippine Team and to Anitokid.

And I will knock you not!

@Penniless Fat Guy: Hopefully, BoomBoom's loss will serve him well in the future. He is still very young - has a lot of time to mature. Penalosa also had lady luck on his side that day! Kudos to him! Galing talaga! Now, with regards to AJ, you noticed it too, huh? Such an awesome right hook! And I kid you not!
